Our farm is situated at the foot off the hills, at 2 km. from the city of Saverdun. It is surrounded by forest and fields where the Ariège follows his riverbed. A walk through the hills behind the farmhouse gives you a beautiful view on the valley and the Pyrenees.

Saverdun lies at the border of the Ariège district and opens his doors for those who would like to discover a region that is not overrun by tourism yet. It is a nice little town not far from the A road 20 (RN20) and the motorway A66 to Spain and Andorra.

The Ariège-Pyrenean region is a fascinating one with it’s high mountains in the south. The woods and steep mountainsides with caves in it are refuges for many wild animals. With some luck the eagle and the vulture will give you a fly performance.

Do you feel like sporting? The Ariège Pyrenees offer you several possibilities such as: mountain biking, horse riding, fishing, walking (see for our walking week), canoeing and kayaking, rafting and mountain climbing.
